[ ponponxu's Gallery ]Many of you perhaps would look at ~
ponponxu's work and say that most of them need a little bit more detail to actually be defined, but when I look at this artist's work it takes me back to the times when Impressionism had first come to the picture, when artists wanted just to portrait the visual impresion of light. They cared little for details, they were a little bit more objective about the things around them, and their perspective for things was wider than that of most other artists.

[ sulvee's Gallery ]~
sulvee pours her heart right out through her fingers, and straight into our eagerly waiting brains. Such shocking, vivid imagery created using such experimental poetry methods, and so highly personal, it feels you almost shouldn't be reading it.

she is cathedrali lapped milk from the hollow
of her stomach
slow and concentrated
hunched over like a dog
drowning in her shallows
the bleeding spirit above me
barely animate, robotic
a watchmaker's dream
his daughter; my muse
a humming machine
steals my attention from
the soft white sea
it's the fine wispy fields of
death's fruitful things
along two slender arms
that twist these hands
to nothing

promise Your long legs cutting through the air as you rounded the corner of the house. I saw the knowing of your eyes; a certainty in your speed and sureness of step - but they were slightly widened, as though you still gained something from it.
Nobody knew how fast you could run because nobody could catch you. You'd think someone who could outrun anyone and who ran so frequently would grow tired of it, or at least subside into a state of monotony with each victory - but you're not just someone - And - I tried one day, to keep up.
Your smell as you whisk by...
I leap off the steps and run after you, my poor
she is cathedral |
