I can't quite remember how I came across Christoph-Michaelis's work, the first word that came out of my mouth when I saw his work by the name of --dark-- was "WOW" yeah I was wowed with the quantity of details, the fact that some of his photomanipulations look like very well executed pencil drawings that is unbelieveable I am really impress by his style and technique.

missi miss wicked like limbs lost:
phantom pains and
hunger pangs poke holes or
scream me pieces left out silverstein,
i smell ghosts poured over everything
catch profiles in planes or angles
and lose track in staring out,
i miss like chasing graves;
grieve, drink in wake at Wake
to wake too hungover to break again
(i do hold funerals; they are long marches
plotted through the wasteland fumaroles) -
i get remade more bone
than nerve each time
the ritual entwines
or, each time i miss there gets to be

fillour thing is in the itch and tickle,
the whimsy and idling piston, penning smells

but you see all as scar even while the wound is still sealing

To have been in deviant for 7 years and having less than 20.000 page views shows that jhoneil isn't the most active member of this community but we can't deny that his skills and his techniques are beyond admiration, dark, mysterious, macaber and horror are some of my most favorite art styles, and this artist has them all in a same place.
