Expecting a reply?

Many of you ask if we will reply to you if you do or don't get accepted onto the Team here. The answer is simple: you will be notified if you accepted and no if you are not. The reason you are not notified is that we take all applications seriously so we would obviously keep all applications for future reference. Please do not feel hurt if we don't reply to you. We try to keep a wide variety of Team members in each category that has a broad knowledge of different styles and techniques. This means that you may have a similar style to a person already on the team but the Head of said category would like to have someone with a different style - whether it be the style of their favourites, gallery or a combination of both.


What will get me a better chance of getting on the Team?

The first thing that the heads look for in an application is what sort of things does the applicant add to their favourites. This usually tells what sort of deviants the person would feature. It really depends on the Head what sort of style they may or may not be looking for within the favourites category, but they are usually on top of the list of things to look for.

Another thing is to have a partial to full gallery of deviations of the thing you are applying for. If you are applying for a traditional position but have only photography in your gallery your chances might go down due to the fact that the Head might see you don't have much knowledge on the topic of the gallery they are heading.

It all comes down to the Head of the category you are applying for. If you have any questions that you would like to ask a head before applying, feel free to note them. They are located in the Shoutboard and here.


This position can be time consuming so if you are not up to the demands that it takes please do NOT apply. Here are a list of things you will be asked to do.

* Find features for the days you are assigned.
* Keep up with changes, suggestions, and general happenings at our database.
* Be able to check the database at least once a day.
* Keep up with changes going on in the galleries/categories you apply for.
* Read weekly Team newsletters and keep up with changes going on with the community.
* Be able to do Monthly News Features.

Seems like a lot? We know - but it is what comes with the position.
